First in a series of three. Open edition wrapped canvas art print made from the original multi-media artwork depicting an abstract collage of warm and cool earthen colors and textures. These prints are reproduced from the artwork of Kara Young whose original creations are made of 85% handcast Abaca paper. The cracked surfaces are created with joint compound and then painted with wax and pigments. This process is called Encaustic. The feeling is reminiscent of mysterious canyons with beautiful stained and cracked stone walls.
